ABOUT US

Led by Emmanuel François, the company’s founder and producer, BROTHERFILMS develops and produces primarily documentaries, because they are the ideal form for telling the story of society—a remarkable medium for capturing the world, with all its ambiguities and its dizzying turns…

He is now supported by Joseph Dupont-Moreau, et de Tamara Setton at the head of production and by Camille Poulain at editorial. It is an adventure shared with associate producers and a loyal team of directors, cinematographers, editors, graphic designers, musicians, illustrators, and writers—each encouraged to let their creativity fully unfold.

BROTHERFILMS embraces a diverse slate of productions, spanning major documentary films for a wide audience as well as more intimate works that give free rein to distinctive, unconventional storytelling. Productions that explore geopolitics as much as history, the arts, culture, and the great issues shaping society.

BROTHERFILMS productions are regularly recognized by the press and at French and international festivals. They have notably won Hecho en Mexico DocMx 2021, le Grand prix du Figra et le prix Terres d’histoire(s) 2021, le Grand prix du Figra 2019, le Fipa d’Or 2014, les Lauriers de la radio et télévision française 2015.
